This weekend I shared one of the the BIGGEST OPPORTUNITIES God has ever opened up to ORBC.

If you missed that message, PLEASE make sure you catch it HERE:

After the service several of you expressed your excitement and enthusiasm about this incredible opportunity and have asked, “How can I be a part?

Of course, we are at still at the very early information gathering stages, but there are a few things you can be doing right now to get ready!

In fact, six things:

Even if you have taken the classes before, I promise you will enjoy the refresher. The critical spiritual information combined with the practical habits that we teach in CLASS 101-401 will be needed for you to step out and join us in this world changing adventure. SIGN UP HERE for Salisbury, or HERE for Seaford.

We like to tell our people, you need a group to grow, but you also need a group to GO! You need a prayer support team that is sending you out by lifting you up. If you’re not already in a small group, FIND ONE HERE

Going on a mission trip is just using your SHAPE beyond our walls. If you’re not serving here, you probably won’t serve there. The very best preparation for the mission field is faithful service in the church. God uses ministry to train us for mission. If you aren’t already serving, GET STARTED HERE!

CLICK HERE to reach the passport WEB site.

If you are not already tithing, start there. Your tithe is what makes ORBC possible. When ORBC members stop tithing we stop bringing hope and healing to a broken world.

Over and above your tithe, begin saving NOW for missions! Get an envelope and write GOD FUND on it. Put every spare dollar you have in it. Ask relatives to give you $$$ instead of gifts for birthdays, Christmas, etc. It will cost anywhere between $2,000-$6,000 for an international mission trip, depending on where you go and how long you stay. If you are struggling with your finances, don’t waste another dollar before reading Dave Ramsey’s TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER and look for the next Financial Peace University class.

If you prayed that prayer with me this Sunday, hang on to your seat! You are stepping into the danger zone. Don’t worry though, you’re in good company with some people who have gone before you such as Abraham, Noah, Moses, Peter, and Paul! This is where it gets really good!

I’m excited, how ’bout you?

I’m Praying for safe traveling for you and your success in reaching out to our brothers and sisters in Japan so they may experience the same joy and peace I have found in my personal relationship with God backed by the support and knowledge I discovered at ORBC!!!
